1) What did you learn that most positively affected your progress in creating your software?
In my process of learning how to make a Spotify clone, I learned many things. The thing that most positively affected my progress was when my tutor re-taught me HTML/CSS. I haven't done that sort of coding since Freshman year, so I had completely forgotten it. It helped me with many things like making the search engine, designing how the project look and putting everything into place.
2) If you could take a time machine and go back to the beginning of the year, what one thing would you tell yourself to do (or not to do) to help group make progress on this project?
I would tell myself to learn JavaScript sooner. Oliver learned JavaScript and I re-learned HTML/CSS. By the end, the Spotify CSS and HTML got done early, so I didn't have anything to do and Oliver knew how to create more things. I tried to learn how to use JavaScript and even watched three videos that were an hour long, but still ended up learning nothing important, and just knowing basic things like how to change the color of your letters and go to an open tab in chrome and give a PSA at the top of the screen.
3) What do you think about the final state of your project?
I'm very satisfied with my project. I think we did an amazing job working together and learning how to combine our code. We wanted a clone of basic Spotify and that's exactly what we made. We even made something Spotify didn't have. The students asked for something new, so I thought of the idea that we should have a history album. This was an album that stays at the front of all of your albums and shows what the last song you listened to is. It was working a week ago, but i'm not sure if it's still running now. I wouldn't change any part of our project... except maybe the background.
